Weak teeth?any suggestions?what to use floride?!


Question: ok so im only 18 years old and last appoitment to the dentist i have 8 cavities i brush floss dont hardly eat junk, do hard candy no pop etc...
the dentist says im getting cavities like 40 year olds would get and that i have very weak teeth??
she told me to start using a floride mouthwash..i have been using it for about a month will this actually work????
and anyone else have the same problem with there teeth??and any suggestions on what i can do?
she said at the rate i get all these cavities i might end up loosing a few teeth and i really dont want that im still young i wanna keep my teeth!!!!!!

and just to remind you all again i do not drink pop and stuff like that to cause all these cavities,and no rude comments please and thank you!

Use ACT. You can find it at a CVS, Giant or any other place that carries dental things. I use it and i don't get any more cavities. The ACT makes the enamel in your teeth stronger to prevent tooth decay and it really works. Listerine sucks, so if you use listerine, i'd say to stop using it and buy ACT.

i use colgate and i dont get cavities and i eat lots of candy and chocolate sorry with i could help

I would advise you to ask your dentist if she can write a prescription for you for a fluoride gel you brush on your teeth (just like toothpaste), especially since you are having so many cavities. Fluoride helps protect your teeth from cavities by making the enamel stronger and able to resist breakdown from the acids produced by the bacteria in your mouth.
