What can I do if I have braces and they are making my face look crooked?
I had braces put on about over a half a year ago and all I wanted to fix were my front two bottom teeth and two teeth on the top. But now since my jaw seems to be misalinged my teeth are now going straight but in an upward slant and my face is looking very crooked. I brought this up to my orthodontist and he basically said that surgery is my only other option because he is making my teeth straight and parallel to my jaw.
I personally feel that he should have told me that this would occur. Is there anything I can do now. I wish my teeth would go back to the way that they were because they were fine, I was just trying to perfect the little imperfections that existed and now I made my face look crooked.
Is there any other way to fix my face besides having an operation that costs over 20K? Please help.

Your orthodontist should have told you possible complications before performing the procedure. It seems like he is just trying to suck moeny out of his client's pockets. Go to a different orthodntist of another opinion. One possiblity may be to put braces on all your teeth to re-align your teeth and jaw.
