OK, I am going to guess by your picture that you are black? If this is the case, it is probably just the amount of melanin that you have present in the tissues and is normal. You won't be able to alter the color and probably shouldn't be worried about it. However, please mention it to your dentist or dental hygienist when you go for your checkup and they can confirm that it is just normal pigment. If you have any odd looking red, white, or blue patches then I would be concerned that they are related to oral cancer. Hope that helps!
