I'm getting braces in two hours, and I am a bit nervous, please help.?!

close your eyes and ignore the drills and blood
No big deal- just an occasional sore mouth from adjustments.

it doesn't hurt at all getting braces put on, and it only starts to ache (a tiny bit!) the next day and if you bite something hard.
the pain is nothing really, and i'm a wimp, it's easily tackled with paracetamol.
but be careful if you have a small mouth, because you can get mouth ulcers.
Braces are something which are temporary but your teeth and appearance will be really improved after they are gone.
Bring some music - relax and tonight you will wonder what all the fuss was about !
my daughter got braces...they put brackets on your teeth with some kind of glue and then a wire to connect the brackets..take tylenol for the pain...cant eat well the 1 day but u can still eat...only cuz u r not used to it
I got braces so I can tell you honestly: You have nothing to worry about during the procedure. It's not painful at all. Infact, unless your dentist takes a tooth out to make space or whatever, anything else he does with your teeth won't hurt much, if at all.
The real pain begins the morning after, when your teeth will start to slightly rearrange in their gums due to the pressure created by the braces. You'll have a hard time chewing, so I suggest you stay on liquids or soft sandwiches until after 3 or 4 days time; after that the hurt goes away and you can get back to real food. I'm sure your dentist will give you a guide on how to take care of braced-teeth.
u'll be fine. i have braces and it didn't even hurt when the dentist put them on. plus u get to choose from some cool colors.
dont choose clear cuz those change color easy.
My daughter just had her's removed recently and the only problems she ever had was a little discomfort after they tighten them and somtimes the wire would poke her in the gums.
Are you nervous what you may look like after having them put on?
I don't know how old you are but kids can be mean and tease a little.
I didn't know until my daughter had her braces taken off but they glue a permanant wire behind the teeth so they do not go back to being crooked or you can wear a removable mouth piece.
