PLEASE HELP?!! my bf's infection from a tooth is swelling up and turning blu!
Question: He has no insurance, has gotten antibiotics from a dr. seen from the emergency room, but can't even take the tooth out until the swelling goes away but since just the pain started 6 days ago, its come out to a big ball in his mouth with blue on it and he and i cant really afford another dr. visit because we have bills to pay and he is also working two jobs and doesn't really have time to see another dr. anyone out there who is a dentist or has dental experience similar to mine, and what we can do to help get the swelling down by bying something from the store or doing something at home?! PLEASE HELP AND ANSWER ASAP!?!?!?

Contact your local dental society. Every state has one. Request the names of dentists and organizations that provide free, low-cost and sliding scale fee dental services. It is likely that a local school of dentistry will be on the list. Some counties and cities have dental societies. You may be able to find the society in your search engine. If you don't know where it is, contact the American Dental Association. Your boyfriend does not have to suffer.
