Bad breath could be caused by a cavity, but more often it is caused by a combination of gum disease and bacteria on the tongue. Floss after eating. Flossing is more important than brushing. Flossing will normally cause the gums to heal.

And every time you brush your teeth, brush your tongue. When you are done brushing your tongue, it should look red and healthy, not grey. And then use a good antiseptic mouthwash.

Now kiss me!

chew gum?

chew gum.

and brush your teeth often throughout the day!

(:

Well before you had braces you were in a different place in your life. As you get older, halitosis is more common. Chew gum when you're out of the house and keep mints with you.

ask ur dentist,.but i guess u can use a mouthwash, floss ur teeth, and chew gum.

try to gargle warm water mixed with salt and ginger.

eww no offence does your tonge turn green cause thats wat i heard

I POP A MINT BEFORE I GO TO TALK TO ANYONE. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AFRAID I WOULD BE TALKING TO SOMEONE AND MAKING THEM GAG, IT IS ALMOST A PHOBIA AT THIS POINT. BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD HALITOSIS, SO I AM NOT POSITIVE IT WOULD HELP.
I HAVE HEARD THOUGH, THAT FLOSSING AFTER EVERY MEAL WITH MINT FLOSS AND FLOSSING BEFORE YOU USE MOUTHWASH WORKS WELL.

if you're flossing and still have the problem, you may have a cavity that is giving you the halitosis

You should brush your tongue as well each time you brush your teeth. Quite a number of the germs in your mouth are on your tongue, and these can contribute to halitosis. Simply use your toothbrush to sweep from the back of your tongue forward several times while you are brushing your teeth. Then rinse and spit as usual.

You might also consider getting an inexpensive water pik. I try to use this once or twice a day after brushing with a little mouthwash in the water. It's a very clean feeling!

Brushing twice a day with antibacterial toothpaste and using a toothbrush with a built-in tongue scraper can eliminate halitosis.
