For people who had/have braces...?
Did it hurt the first time you got your braces? How long did the pain last? A classmate also had something attached to her braces like a rubberband, what does that do?
Answers:
it hurts for maybe 3-4 days to a week. It hurts again everytime they tighten it but for only 1-3 days. It gives you an exuse to eat ice cream. The rubber bands hurt alot. If you have an over bight the rubber bands pull your lower jaw forward. or if you have an under bight it pulls your lower jaw back. Oh, the braces also hurt when they rub against your cheek but your lips build tuffer skin and then it stops hurting. You can put wax on it or if it really hurts you can get this numbing pink stuff (but i think you need perscription for it)
