Whats the average time for having braces?
I had braces for 2 years then they took them off for a break, then they put them back on again, i have had them on for about a year in a half. Any have any guesses when they could take them off? I hate these braces

The timing seems awfully long- usual is at the most 2 years that I know of-- both my daughters were 2 years and then retainers afterwards---have a sit down with your orthodontist and ask what is the problem and why so long? he may have made a mistake and now is correcting it for the next 1 1/2 years----by the way- do you have your wisdom teeth still? because if you do, get them pulled out now before you get your braces out- they will shift your teeth when they start to break through and cause another delay in your freedom from the braces.............good luck to you.......btw you don't need your wisdom teeth so it's best to get them out ASAP
