Answers:
I use a soft toothbrush (Crest,Oral B) and also an electric toothbrush (Oral B/Braun) with floss daily and sometimes listerine. I recommend for my patients a soft toothbrush (not brand specific) as a harder toothbrush will be apt to wear away the gums. The toothpaste I recommend is one with fluoride and the rest of the recommendation depends on the patient. Honestly, the whitening toothpastes generally leave people disappointed, as they are really not whitening but just better at removing stain. The tartar control toothpastes are ok, but sometimes irritate the gums and if you are getting regular cleanings and have good home care (brushing 2 -3 times a day for 2 minutes and flossing once a day) they don't make that much of an impact. I use Crest sensitivity and like it for some slight sensitivity I have. Hope that answers your question!
