baking powder or bleach to whiten your teeth??

Definately don't use household bleach, you could really harm yourself. Baking soda or powder shouldn't be harmful providing you don't have a problem with sodium, but tastes icky. You should consider using a product like the Crest Whitestrips. My patients usually have good luck with those if they follow the protocol and they aren't nearly as expensive as custom tray bleaching. Before you whiten though you should have a dental cleaning as any buildup (stain, tartar, plaque) will block the strips from working their best. Good luck!
