thats lizzard ****

i dont know but that would hurt!

I don't think that is true. I would bet if it was that hot, you couldn't drink it.

no i thats why so many people drink hot chocolate when its cold

You should get frost bite and burns before this would happen

80 degrees celcius and -40 degrees celcius for this to happen

Unlikely, i would say,
but it sure would hurt, but i dont think that they would crack.
but, im no scientist... when in doubt. email MYTHBUSTERS!!!

Um- Not true.
Yes- enamel has give, b but I have personaly never heard of someones teeth magically exploding from heat/cold.
It's a cool concept though.

You can, over time, chip or crack your enamel. This is true.
It can randomly decide to break or chip off . This is true.
You may be drinking something hot during a cold spell and something flakes off....True.
But being temperature related in itself.... cool but UnTrue.

I would think this is almost impossible. There would have to be some extreme temperature differences and extraordinary temperature change times to make this happen. It's very un-likely.

NO, THIS IS A MYTH

never in the evolution of man kind has this happened, your teeth are inside your mouth protected, why don't you try to tape your lips folded open and bite down on a piece of dry ice and then after ten minutes drink some hot chocolate and then post the answer for us.

Its not true, just a myth.

I'm a dentist.

No. They will not shatter.

Extreme temperature changes will, however, cause you discomfort.
