i've read somewhere (cant remember where d) that the reason for bad breath is because of high phosphate in a person's mouth. to know if you have bad breath, lick the back of your hand and let your saliva dry off the back of your hand. if the back of your hand is smelly, you have bad breath. I suggest u use mouthwash like listerine, daily, and brush your tongue when you brush your teeth too. for short term effects, pop some strong mints into your mouth!

Do you visit the dentist regularly?

This is probably a sign that you have a gum infection. This can only be cured by a thorough professional cleaning, some antibiotics, and rigorous flossing and brushing after every meal. (By rigorous I mean by unbreakable routine, not brushing your teeth hard - in fact a soft toothbrush is best). Your dentist or hygienist can give you more tips.

Reason :
A particular type of bacteria that resides on the soft tissues in the back of the mouth - mainly on the back of the tongue - causes bad breath, or halitosis. These bad breath bacteria thrive under a blanket of mucous where they produce putrid sulfur gasses which cause bad breath odor. No mouthwash reaches these bacteria, no matter how long or how frequently you rinse, and toothbrushes are of little value in removing them.

Solution Temp:

Conventional mouthwashes, breath mints, sprays and other similar "bad breath solutions" just temporarily mask the offensive odor of bad breath. In addition, popular mouthwashes are a particularly ineffective means of dealing with bad breath that is chronic in nature according to recent research published in a prominent consumer publication

Premenant solution :

Professional help Gum problems are the main cause of bad breath, so get checked out by your dentist or hygienist

- Drink plenty of water Avoid having a dry mouth, as dead and dying bacteria and cells, which would normally be swept away by saliva, linger, stagnate and release pungent gases. And be aware that the more you chat, the worse you
