Lady bug in the mouth area?!
Question: As I was rinsing my retainer out getting ready to pop it in..I hear a lady bug fall and go down my drain. Was this lady bug hanging out in my retainer!? I purelled it with sand sanitizer and then washed under warm water with soap. I am so upset it was creepin like that. Will I be ok? Can lady bugs transmit bacteria and disease??

they emit a stench when they die or get scared, kinda like a skunk. At least the ones i saw. It keeps them safe from birds.
But since they are not carnivores, they are probably cleaner than ants. And I've eaten food that ants have been fighting over. Somehow they don't skeeve me out the way flies do.
You'll be fine. LadyBugs dont have like birdflu or anything, think about fear factor or something. They eat bugs all the time.
