Tell me stories about getting braces or mouth molds?!

When you first get braces your mouth feels fine.
But after a few hours it'll start to hurt. if the person is gentle and doesn't jam everything in then it wont be so bad.
Also when they tighten them they'll be sore for a day or two.
Or a few hours.
It depends on how much they tighten them.
If you get rubberbands for your braces then it takes about 4 days to get used to them.
And for head gear 3-7 days.
I have braces. Had headgear and now have rubberbands.
Its really not that bad.
And sometimes when you get them tightened it wont hurt at all since your mouth is so used to it.
the ONLY thing that bugs me is when i'm eating grits or something like that and they get stuck -_-
Also with popcorn.
Its really NOT that bad.
And when your all finished think of how nice your teeth will look.
As for the mouth molds the top one is the hardest for me.
Because my mouth is very small (even the smallest piece is way to big)
So having something that big in my mouth causes me to panic.
What you need to remember is.
It will taste bad,Breathe with your nose,and it only takes about a minute for each if you don't panic or move.

braces get sore whenever you get them tightened and the first time you get them on. the first time hurts the most but it'll go away in a couple days or anything up to a week.
molds are really weird. they sorta hurt when they pull it out of your mouth because it's all dry and hardened up on your teeth so they gotta pull it off but it's not that bad.
goodluck with your braces. they're gonna be so worth it!
the braces them self doesn't hurt to get put on the mouth mold doesn't hurt either but when i got mine when they were doing the top mold you have to bite down really hard so they can get a good impression and a little squeezed out the back of it and it was gagging me. but fortunately they don't have to keep it in there for a really long time.
