I have to Remove All 4 Wisdom teeth...?!
Question: I am told that i will have to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth this summer. Does anyone have any advice or anything to tell me before i go through this. Maybe even your own experience.

I had all 4 of mine removed at the same time..they were growing SIDEWAYS into my other teeth *I am so glad all my other teeth are soo straight withOUT bracesEVER!...I was 16 I do believe...(Now 18)...I was stupid of course and went out with friends that night *I had to stay at my grandparents, so my mom wouldn't know!...but she found out :-(* My advice, is to stay IN and get all the sympothy you can LOL...cause after I went out, I got none from my mom :-( lol! After they are removed, go to the beach and have plenty of beer.
I had all four of mine remove within 2 hours back in the early 80's no problems
Plan to be down for about 2-3 days afterward. That was me, I was wiped out by the anesthesia. (That was 25 years ago)
Now my son, he was up and around with no problems the very next day. (he was 18) They used a conscious sedation, he had no problems. He was a bit sore and on soft foods for a few days, but never complained after that. We went to an oral sugeon to have it done.
I'd to it in 2 visits if possible. Right hand side and left hand side. This way you'll have one side you can eat on. Unless they're fully erupted and the x-rays show them to have conical roots. Then you can probably ask to have them taken out at the same time. Although your diet will still be a soft food diet for a week or two.
I think most people get knocked out when they have all four out. It's up to you though.
