What if a dentist gets arthritis?!

Question:

What if a dentist gets arthritis?

Well I want to become a dentist when I'm older, but I sprained my thumb and had some other hand injures that concern me. I know it's possible my thumb/hands might develop arthritis when I'm older so I'm thinking that if that does happen when I'm employed as a dentist, would I be out of a job?

Answers:

hand injuries have nothing to do with arthritis, arthritis is an autoimmune disease in which your immune system attacks the cartilage at the joints in your fingers
