Do you go every 6 months to the dentists for a check up?!

Question: I know that it is difficult for some with the shortage of NHS dentists so if you do have 1 do you go for your check up or wait till you have to go, thank you.

Yes Gemm

Every 6 months without fail. May need to go sooner this time, I just broke a tooth

No. I only go if i have to. I hate the dentist.

I go to have a cleaning and then the dentist comes in to check my teeth. once a year or so, they xray.

I used to go every 6 months as i had a gum disease but now that has all cleared up they said i can go yearly now.

ive been private for a lo9ng time because of the shortage-do i get an appointment every 6 months ha do i eck

Absolutely. Nothing looks worse than rotten teeth.

yes i go every six months, worried i will be taken off the list otherwise.

After the experience of having a tooth abcess, I faithfully go every six months now. I want to catch something before I end up in pain again.

i go every 3 months for a cleaning.. i have 2 insurances.. and they both cover one every 6 months.. so i go 4 times a year.. i love it to!!

i wait til i have to go because its too bloody expencive.

yeh every six months! i shld no i wrk there

I go to the dentist to have my teeth checked but not regularly.

I just got a letter last week mentioning that it's time for me to have a routine dental check :(

I also discovered that my dentist has left and now I have to face a new one.

I'm sure that they'll be nice and I do need to have a filling replaced because it's turned silver and it used to be the same colour as my teeth.
