Anyone taken Augmentin?

I have been prescribed this for a sinus infection I got from having root canal treatment on an upper molar. Has anyone had this and does it work? Also are there bad side effects?

There shouldn't be a problem unless you're allergic to it, like I am. I was taking it for a sinus infection and my lip swelled, it was weird.
