Sensitive teeth after cavity filling?!
Question: I just got 3 fillings on my teeth yesterday afternoon. It's been about 12 hours or so and my teeth are still sensitive especially to cold things. How long should it be till my teeth are no longer sensitive?

You should avoid extreme temperatures for at least a day after you get the fillings (the more fillings, the longer you should wait). Also, if the discomfort persists for a couple of weeks, it may be because the filling is deep in the tooth and may be near a nerve, you might want to have your dentist take some more x-rays.
Good luck!
It usually lasts 24-48 hours then it will get back to normal. By this time tomorrow or Friday you should be back to normal.
I've had it last weeks... Try something like a sensodyne toothpaste, it really does help.
It could be from 2 weeks to 1 month. It really depends on how deep the cavity was.
It last a little bit, but you can minimize it or eliminate it, using Sensodyne.
