I get these white spots on my teeth...?!
Question: and i don't know what they are. They aren't always there... sometimes they just appear and brushing my teeth, or rinsing with mouth wash doesn't help. I've noticed they come when i drink lemonade, or use different types of chapstick. And then they eventually just go away after a while. Does this happen to anyone else? and if so do you have any idea what it is and how to prevent it?

What your experiencing with the coming and going of white spots on your teeth may in fact be a warning that you need to have you teeth examined "closely"...there may be a defect in the surface that when given the opportunity those defects are able to grab and hold various chemical ,and organic stains for a period of time. They usually go away due to brushing over a period of time. Tell you what, make an appointment to have your teeth cleaned by a licensed Hygienist and tell her what you have been experiencing, she will be able to give you a definitive opinion and between her and the DDS they can come up with both the cause and the cure..Good luck and I wish you well.
They might be calcium deposits... if they are they would always be there you might not be seeing them there everyday... i have one on my front tooth and that is what i was told but i always noticed mine there..
