What is the average price to get all four wisdom teeth extracted?!

Question: My dentist said that I would need to see a surgeon to have them removed.

Answers: My dentist said that I would need to see a surgeon to have them removed.

Hi, Ok, to begin with, if you go to an Oral Surgeon the fee will be higher than going to a regular DDS...Depending on what part of the country you live in the Oral Surgeon's fee could be as much as $300 per tooth. A regular DDS fee could be around $125 per tooth...however, those fees could be a bit higher if the any of the wisdom teeth are severely impacted.....If there is a Dental College near you, you could consider going to it's "Out Patient Clinic"...the fee there will range between Free and very low cost, depending on your financial situation. Good luck and I wish you well.

Well I am getting mine out on May 8th, the cost for it is 1148$ CAD, so it's about the same American dollars too. This is in a best case scenario because my wisdom teeth have not grown improperly, and just need to be taken out to prevent further problems. I'd say anywhere between 1200 and 1500$ to get them out as far as I am aware depending on if they're impacted or not as well.

50++ BUCKS per tooth

my guess would be 500 bux. My daughter just had 2 cut at and it was 250 bux. Yes..you need an oral surgeon. Dentist are not allowed to even pull a tooth. I think they are allowed to pull baby teeth but not adult teeth.

It Depends on your oral surgeon, your health care provider, how much anesthetic you need for the procedure, and what pain killers are prescribed to you for after the procedure. I personally had 2 impacted wisdom teeth pulled at the same time by my dentist who was also and oral surgeon a couple of years ago. All together with no insurance and small amount of generic pain medication it ran about $600 5 years ago.

I had all four removed in Australia (as well as 4 adult teeth) and it cost just over $1000 AUD. Hope this helps.
