It basically goes from one end to the other on the top or on the bottom (Sometimes both!)
it's used to close in gaps, it's a little painful for awhile...but after a few days your fine :). Plus you get to choose one colour for it to be. Mine's royal blue right now =]
Its like the regular colored bands you get on your teeth, but theyre all connected so it pulls your teeth together closing gaps.

It is sort of like a rubber band that goes on all of your teeth on the top and bottom. It stretches from your last tooth on one side of your mouth to the last tooth on the other side of your mouth. You may get one on the top, one on the bottom, or both. It causes your teeth to align right next to each other. They're mainly used to close gaps.
You know the little colored rubber bands they put around each metal peice? Yeah those, but in a power chain theyre all connected really tight with rubber threads to pull your teeth in faster and stuff.
Now dont get too upset, but Ive had those and the first time getting them is sorta painfull and bad memory lol. Good Luck.
