Can you use listerine to replace flossing?!

Question:

Can you use listerine to replace flossing?

I am lazy when it comes to flossing my teeth because i have braces. is it possible to replace flossing with listerine?

Answers:

It is not a good idea. Even though Listerine may wash away the germs (a certain percentage of them) it will not get to the particles that really attach themselves to your teeth, nor does it, like flossing help to loosen and get rid of the plaque build up.

Since you have braces you need to take extra care of your mouth and teeth. Why spend all that money and time on trying to get great looking teeth if your just going to waste it because of not taking proper care. Just a thought.
