Bachelor's degree, then attend medical school for 4 years, do residency. Then more training, (I believe 4 more years) for the training of anesthesiologist. So a minimum (which is unlikely) total of 12 years of schooling after graduation from high school. Go to www.bls.gov, it lists all types of jobs and training involved.
