How do I whiten my capped teeth?!

Question:

How do I whiten my capped teeth?

My teeth are capped, by that I mean all of my front teeth. I was in a car accident when I was a younger and it knocked out my permenent teeth and now my capped teeth are not as white as they used to be, I guess it's from coffe or something. Does anyone know any way to make them whiter (like maybe peroxide, bleach or something) please help. Thank you

Answers:

Actually the only way that you can whiten crowned teeth (capped) is to get them replaced. You can try baking soda to see if some of the stain will come off, however this likely will not help much. As we get older our natural teeth stain, as well as our crowns etc. However with natural teeth we can whiten them but there is no method yet that will lighten non-natural teeth. So for people that have anterior veneers or crowns this is just one of the things that you have to live with unless you plan to have them replaced at some point which is expensive. I would try to lay off of the dark drinks if possible to hopefully keep them from getting darker. Ask your dentist what your options are. Best of luck. Sorry.
