I just got rubber bands put on yesterday and there's THREE of them how long do i have to wear them?

I am in PAIN!

Once your orthodontist puts you in bands you generally only have about 6-8 weeks left in braces. The pain should ease in a week or so, but if you're really concerned about it, call your ortho to make sure s/he thinks everything is okay, and to ask what pain reliever would help the most.
