pretty abnormal, i lost all mine wen i was at least 13

this does not make sense

very, that could even be a medical problem. I would go see your dentist immediately!

wow..u mite wanna get that checked out lol

You cant be serious

i lost all mine win i was 11...but everyone grows differently

I'm 20 and still have 2 canines... the adults were MIA and the doc told me not to lose them otherwise I'd be missing 2 teeth
it's not uncommon but it's sure as hell not common

I'm the same way. It's not good. It could mean you have impacted teeth, which means that your teeth are stuck in your gums and won't come down because they are pointed funny. My two upper canines are basically sideways in my gums and I have to go see an oral surgeon. Talk to your dentist.

It isn't abnormal at all, it all depends on your genetics. I'm almost 31 and still have a couple baby teeth. They never fell out and there is nothing underneath to take their place. My dad had the same thing. Ignore the people that know nothing about this.

that sounds strange to me

Everyone is different...I had mine (2) pulled at age 45 and 47 from abcesses cause the roots aren't very deep and strong as the others. Just never had new teeth in place to push them out. Just keep an eye on them over the years and you may not have any problem- except every new dentist has to ask you if you knew you still had baby teeth....!!!!

Most people's final permanent teeth are lost by the time they are between 12 and 16 your final permanent teeth (3rd molars or wisdom teeth) appearing a little later sometimes as late as your early to mid 20's. It would concern me that you are going on 19 and still have some baby teeth. However, this isn't a question that can really be answered on a forum.

I would need to know which teeth are still present and look at x-rays of your mouth. Here are some possibilities...

First, something could've happened to the permanent tooth that is stopping it from coming in. It may have shattered while trying to push the baby tooth out or the baby tooth may have long roots causing them to take longer to resorb and allow the tooth to be shed.

Second, the permanent tooth may not have developed. Which means there's nothing to cause that baby tooth to be shed. This is actually a fairly common issue and is usually fixed with braces, and implant, or a partial denture once the tooth is shed.

My advice, see a dentist if you're not already. Have the necessary x-rays taken. With proper diagnostic x-rays the dentist will be able to see if there is a permanent tooth present and if the roots of the baby tooth are resorbing.
