Has anyone had a fixed bridge with dental implants in the uk and how much was it and could you recommend a specialist in birmingham uk. I am looking for upper fixed bridge has have no teeth at all in upper jaw

I was thinking of having an implant done instead of dentures or a bridge. However the cost was £2k which is a lot more than I was prepared to pay.
Be warned though it's not an instant process. After they have attached and cemented the pin into your jaw there is a 6month wait while the mouth settles and then they install the tooth/teeth.
So far the only thing I've seen done (which was impressive) was when a woman lost all her teeth and had a full set of teeth installed by this method. They put a few pins into the top and bottom of her mouth and fixed (by screws) a new set into her mouth. The new set were made to look natural with (as some people have) a small defect or slight crooked tooth etc etc, they never come out unless unscrewed by a dentist and can be cleaned etc like a normal set.
