I've had seven fillings and they don't hurt one bit. It's usually over in 10 minutes and then everything's fine. Don't be nervous :) Good luck!
I don't think anyone thinks of the dentist as their friend. Ask your dentist to make sure you are numbed up good. You should feel tingling in the tip of your tongue. Then you shouldn't feel anything.
Don't worry it won't be that bad at all. They will make it so you don't feel it.
if u have large decayy they will hurt the tiniest bit but u will probably have anestetic(injection to num the area you won't feel a thing !) but dont worry your dentist is only helping u and after you will be happy with your restorations ! i should now i have had a root filling and 4 fillings ! good luck ! ist of all dont get scared, just get adequately informed.
u ll not have pain . The kind of discomfort is called sensitivity to drilling machines.That has individual variations. some feel mildly sensitive, others moderate but bearable, few get overtly sensitive or even sometimes pain. telll ur dentist to administer local anaesthitic injection , just in case it starts to become unbearable or even before that. also ask for a detailed explanation of the procedure to dispel any psychologic stress that u might develop.
Remember fillings r nothing to worry.
