Ball inside my jaw?!?!

Question: I feel a small ball-like bump inside my left lower jaw. When I touch it, it moves and it hurts a bit. Any idea what it could be?

It's a swollen lymph node as someone else said. Lymph nodes swell in response to infection, and the site of the swollen lymph node gives a clue as to where the infection might be. In most cases swollen submandibular nodes (like yours) are due to a simple viral throat infection, and settle within a week or so. Otherwise it could be an ear infection or some kind of infection within your mouth.

Nobody on here can tell for sure, you might need to ask your Dentist or take a visit to the Doctor.
Good luck :]

dont panic, i think lots of people have them. My hubby has the same thing in his jaw ( pea sized and moves around, although it doesn't hurt) and he noticed it when he was about 6 yrs old ( hes now 40).
But of course if you are worried go get checked out just to be sure.

if its under neath on of your teeth it might be a dental abscess due to gum or tooth infection.check the teeth around it, do they have extensive decays or they had root canal therapy?
so its better to visit your dentist.

Don't worry it's a node that might swell. Maybe you have a decayed tooth that causes the node to swell. We all have lymph nodes located to the different parts of our body. It will swell specially we incountered viral infection. To make sure you have to consult your doctor specialising HEAD & NECK.
God bless you.
