It is a solid. Just because it is rubbery and stretchy and sticky, it can't stay with you that long. The enzymes in your stomach are far too efficient to leave the gum there.

Well it depends on what Gum you get cause it could be both. And i dont think it takes that long to digest it just not nice when it comes out.
