Does anyone know of a charity that supplies free oral surgery?
I have 2 teeth that need to be taken out but I can't be numbed regularly and the roots are extremely long so it was evaluated as having to be oral surgery.
Our local help agencies only pay for simple extractions which we've tried without success.
Neither Salvation Army nor United Way knew of anyone. We've checked with 2 dental colleges and each of them require you to pay atleast 50-80% or else sign up for "complete" work--that means you have to keep coming back until THEY say that you are all done, which means I'd have to get my jaw broken and have TMJ surgery which I'm not willing to do.
I've also checked with a couple places that pay the patient to pull teeth, but can't get that either because of pre-existing health problems.
And no, I can't qualify for the dental credit card either, I tried.
If anyone knows of anything, however obscure, please include it.
