I have an infection under my tooth?!


Question: so i got a root canal about two or three years ago and it really help and over the past nights i've been waking up with pain so my gum was swollen today so i went to the dentist and they said its an infection and the root canal failed so now they are going to take the tooth out and i also believe i grind my teeth at night so what should i do i believe that the infection will go away so the tooth doesn't have to be taking out

Please believe your dentist.
Infections do not go away on their own & WILL get worse if untreated.
Eventually the infection will work its way into your jawbone.
It's better to lose one tooth than your whole jaw!
In the meantime, rinse with salted water to keep the infection at bay.

Stop being a pussy and go grab some pliers.

IT IS POSSILE FOR TEETH TO BE RE ROOT TREATED SO THAT THE INFECTION CAN BE REMOVED. THE INFECTION WILL NOT DISAPPEAR ON ITS OWN.IT WILL RESULT IN ABSCESSES AND BONELOSS. AS FOR GRINDING YOU CAN ASK YOUR DENTIST TO MAKE YOU A SPLINT TO WEAR AT NIGHT.
