Bracesss!!! any othadontists?!
Question: ok i got braces today and im getting 2 teeth pulled on the 21 so they skipped the teeth they are going to pull, well anyways, my wire on my braces is very skinny. all my other friends wire is thick. i was wondering when i get my teeth pulled will they put a different wire on it because on my molers on the ring it has a little tube that looks like its going to hold a bigger wire. so i think i will but im not sure

At first they put a thin wire for you to get used to the feeling. As the treatment progresses the wires get thicker.
ive had three different wires so far.
they gradually put on the thicker wires
but my friends have also just had one wire the whole time
so it depends on what your orthadontist wants to do.
haha ok, i am no orthodontist. However i did have braces for 2 years (probably the worst 2 years of my life) haaha jp. But, at least with my ortho, they usually start the wire small, and work there way up to a thicker wire. Your teeth just have to get used to the idea of braces, and once they are sort of adjusted, then the ortho will put a thicker wire on. Your teeth will build up a resistance so they just have to keep working your way up
