Use warm salt water soaks. Take a sip of it and let it sit on the area for 30 seconds (at the extraction site). Spit out and continue to do the same thing over and over for 30 minutes. The salt will take the heat out and help with the swelling. Take Motrin also.
An ice pack for the first twenty four hours will help with the swelling. Then the rest of the time a heating pad helps.
