It's been months and my teeth are a little crooked but if i wear my retainers will they go straight again?
I've been wearing retainers for a short time and then i stopped wearing them, I don't know why and now that it's been a few months a few of my teeth are getting crooked and when i put them back on they still fit but tighter and more painful, so i'm wondering if i put them on will they straighten out my teeth again or am I too late because it's really getting me a little upset now and i really regret not wearing them now.

You're supposed to wear them 24/7 for the first 6-7 months. Keep wearing them and the soreness will go away as your teeth settle back into the position they were in when your braces were removed.
You may need to have your orthodontist adjust your retainer to help get the teeth back in the ideal position
We typically have our patients go to "night only" wear when the braces have been off for 6-7 months.
