Is bonding on teeth reversible?!

Question: Hello. I am considering on getting bonding to close a gap. I know that is is fairly inexpensive compared to veneers. I'm 20, and would not be able to afford veneers right now. If I get bonding done on my teeth to close my gap, is it easy to remove in the future when I can afford veneers? Thanks for the help!

Yes, they just drill it away to prep for a traditional veneer. Lumineers are a much thinner veneer. For those they leave the bonding in, sometimes even add more as they don't file away your natural teeth like they must w/ traditional veneers. Be sure to go to a cosmetic dentist for your bonding. Also, if you plan to whiten your teeth, do it prior to getting your bonding, as you can't whiten bonding and it will be matched to your teeth. Any dentist can do bonding, but TRUST ME, it is scary if not done correctly. I had to have mine replaced for that reason. Also, bonding often needs replaced just as fillings do. It can chip, etc. I had it done to several in the front. I didn't have a gap but had one of my center two teeth not as straight as the other.

Yep...the bonding can come off when you can afford the veneers.
