Question: I'm having my teeth beached on Thruday, however I want to know the difference between beaching, polishing, and cleaning, or is it different words they use?

Sure, it is a huge difference. Cleaning is the basic thing they use to give poeple to make their oral fresher by using small water sprayer to clean the place people normally can't reach by tooth brushes and totally harmless.

Tooth polishing is smoothening of tooth surface. The purpose of polishing is to make it difficult for plaque to accumulate on the surface area. Tooth surface is rubbed by rubber cup or brush etc.(harmless)

Now comes bleach, dentist will use a type of chemicals to dissolve very tiny layer of your tooth surface so that the original white of the calcium will be obvious. I do not know whether it do really hurt your teeth, but just thinking it dissolve a little of your teeth make me feel scary.

I do have a little yellowish teeth too. It is also known as the natural protection of your tooth, since the bacteria havem't dissolve it and show your true calcium teeth. BLeaching may make your teeth more valnureble to bacteria, that is what I can say.

But if you do brush your teeth twice a day. I think it should be no problem for you.

Good Luck.
