About wisdom tooth problem?
hi all, i've done searching about wisdom tooth and the problems posted by other people and i've read about them, i have pretty much the same problem as them except mine's a little different......i recently got my 2 wisdom tooth removed about 3 weeks ago, by now i think i should've recovered, wat i mean by that is my mouth should be able to open wide now and i shouldn't feel any pain. One of the many symptoms after removing the tooth is that your jaw or your mouth can't open wide and also your mouth might be bruised. My mouth isn't bruised anymore but i still can't open my mouth. The first tooth i got removed in the first week was fine as i can open my mouth after 1 week, then i got my 2nd tooth removed and it's been 2 weeks now but i still can't open my mouth, any suggestions to wat i can do cuz i'm scared that i'll never open my mouth again, everyday i have to use soup or anything drinkable because i can't even bite a bread properly.

wisom tooth extraction can sometimes result in what is known as "lock Jaw". It's rare, but still possible. If there is pain involved... you should call your dentist asap. If there is no pain, "lock Jaw" will let up after time. My best advice to you, would be to call your dentist, or family practice Doctor. Talk to them about whats going on maybe inquire about a low dose muscel relaxer.
