Why don't they develop a substance that would dissolve dental plaque?
They must know the chemical formula for plaque. Therefore it can't be beyond the wit of science to find something to safely dissolve it. Want to know my theory? If they did millions of dentists would be out of work & the industry would collapse! So they don't bother.

well if they did then half the dentists would be outa jobs. sometimes technology is kept secret to keep the world running... to the wish of these people we elect to govern. :P now there's many conspiracy theories around like that, eg: cure of AIDS/cancers etc........
