How much will Invisalign cost me?!

Question: I am almost 16, and I have a tooth that hecka sticks out. I don't have an overbite or an underbite. I just want to straighten out my tooth. My parents insurance is through the state because my mom works at a CSU. But it can't cost too much.

I went to the website but the payment plan is with a credit card, which I don't want my parents to use.

Here's the deal with Invisalign. I'm doing Invisalign treatment right now. I have my 6 upper front teeth and 6 lower front teeth that I want straightened. Total cost for me for both is $3500. Which is pretty reasonable for Invisalign. The "bad thing" about Invisalign is they'll make aligners for your all teeth. It's kinda a waste to just straighten that one tooth without straightening the rest. I mean, you're going to wear the aligners over all your upper/lower teeth(wherever that crooked one is), to spend good money too and wear the aligners over all the teeth just to straigthen one might not make sense. Now, if your other teeth aren't real straight and they can be straightened, then it might be worth it.

Basically, if you're looking to just straighten/fix 1 tooth, I'd look into all the options. Maybe get it yanked and a Vaneer put in(to line up with the other teeth). That might be about a $1000, maybe less than braces or Invisalign.

$7000 to $8000. Most likely your insurance won't cover it. Since you're sixteen, I'd say go with regular braces. I have invisalign right now and I regret not getting regular braces at 16 when I had the chance. I'm 21 right now. I realized that it's better to have braces in high school than in college. High school is such a small world but college is huge because you are basically starting your actual life. So I suggest you get them in high school and suffer the embarrassment than to do it in college. Trust me, it's worth it.
