Sorry it's so tiny, but as you can see I have buck teeth and my bottom teeth are so crooked. I'm so embarassed to smile, I'm 14 and I really need braces but I will look horrible like this in high school and college. Do those inivisible braces work?

yep it hurts.. invisiline is more exp than regular braces..
normal braces are about $5000 ! They do only stay on for 2 years.. so for beautiful teeth, 700 days isn't that long!
Your parents could get 60% if they get a discount benefits plan..while you have the braces..
at the website it's under dental plus.. have your parents look at it and if they let you get braces, show them how much they can save and they'll be even happier!
They should be free with the NHS.

I heard those are way more expensive then the regular kind . Sometimes , braces don't even stay on for that long . What's wrong with the regular braces ? It depends where you go to .
I know your problem, I was in the exact same position as you when I was 13. I had to get braces.
My teeth were not very nic, and I never smiled because I was afraid that people might laugh at me. And I didn't exactly smile much more with the braces on.
But two years later, I was able to get them off, and from that day on I felt more secure about myself. I could smile without the constant fear of someone silently laughing at me.
So, at least for me, the braces was worth it in the end!
Hey girl, im 14 too, but i don't have teeth problems. I smile a whole lot, like i cant go 10 without smiling and laughing...but girl, don't be embarrassed about it. everybody has things they are embarrassed about. like, im 6ft tall, and like soo much taller than everyone else in my class...the people who love you won't care if you have pretty teeth or not:) A boy in my class has those invisible braces though, so go ahead and try it! good luck to you!! let me know how things turn out!
Oh dear. you should be proud of your own cute teeth. In fact, i have buck teeth and i felt so disgusted whenever i smile. Because my side view could see how the buck teeth would protrude out. But eventually, it doesn't matter as much. You're who u are. And beauty is skin-deep.
If you really are keen to get braces, get normal braces. You won't look ugly so long you have the confidence.. :D

I don't know how expensive they will be, because I'm from another country. After much deliberation over the years, I finally got them done when I was 18 because I could no longer stand the way my teeth looked. Not so good because I entered college with my braces on. So yeah, do get them done as early as possible! You'll survive, it even gets fun picking the colors; you could make it your fashion statement.
You're only 14, I don't think you need to be so worried about your having braces on, they're pretty common aren't they? I was worried initially too, about how ugly it might look, but I soon got over it after I saw lots of other people my age (or even older) wearing braces.
I don't know much about the invisible braces, but I hear they take slightly longer than the regular braces to push the teeth back into place, plus they cost a whole lot more. Also, please get it done by an expert (forgot the medical term for it) and not just any regular dentist. I had mine on for just 1.5 years done by a pro, but my sis had hers on for close to 4 years done by those normal dentists.
Talk to your dentist he will give you the information that you need. And let me tell you this is my opinion, but I think it is a good one. I find most girls who have braces to be quite attractive. It also tells me that they care about their personal appearance. The end result will be worth the price!! Find a good orthodontist!!
