The spacers are in between your teeth to make room for the bands for your braces. If you take them out, the orthodontist may not be able to fit the bands, which means the spacers will have to go back in again and you'll be starting all over. Your parents will probably be pretty angry at you for this because it means extra appointments, as will the orthodontist because you'll be wasting everyone's time and delaying your treatment.
Well, I my self never had spacers, but if you have to wear em, why would you wanna take em off.
yes they will hurt and if you are going through orthodontia treatment it will take longer so listen to your dentist or your orthodontist
If you take them out then your orthodontist will not be able to get the bands onto your teeth. The spacers are there to make room for the bands to go on.
Taking them out will just delay your treatment.
