Milk teeth loss?!

Question: My son has just starting losing his milk teeth - the two front bottom ones are very wobbly. I can clearly see his next teeth coming through but they appear to be placed quite far behind his original milk teeth - is this normal?

kommt meistens gut!

don't worry! most of the time they are at the right space straight away, sometimes the jaw still needs to grow a little and the space will then be created! if in doubt ask your dentist!

when his new teeth finally come through then they will all fit properrly 9 times out of 10 if they don`t see your dentist

Yes, my son is at the same stage. He lost one bottom one and his new one was behind. His second bottom one came out last week and he has both new ones halfway through and they are far back and really crooked.

He lost his front top also last week but got hit in the face at football practise so it wasn't really ready and his new one isn't showing yet.?

it's quite normal try not to worry they will be in the right place soon....

this is quite normal my oldest boy had his adult teeth come through before he lost his milk teeth so he had 2 lots of teeth at the bottom of his mouth, but his teeth are perfect now, so don't worry about them.

Yes the new teeth push the milk teeth out from behind. Once the new teeth start coming in you will see them aligning themselves. Your dentist will keep an eye on their progress and if need be give your child a brace if necessary.
