i understand your situation..wearing headgear during daytime may cause you to look awkward in public..but 14hrs per day.you could wear it from 5pm to 7am..most of the time you will be at home during that time right?

there are a few reasons y u need to wear headgear..u should know it or ask your dentist about it.headgear may look ridiculous but it helps in assisting your ortho treatment

hope this will help

just know that to get a good and fast result on your ortho treatment, you need to follow your dentist's advise..its actually not good for your dentist to yell at u..hehe..but anyway,u should tell her the truth and maybe she can understand and give you some better solution.try and discuss with your dentist..dont be afraid

I know headgear is a pain but you do need to try and wear it for the 14 hours a day otherwise it will not work properly. You can make up for some of the missed wearing time at weekends if you're not going out anywhere. Try and get into the habit of putting it on when you get home from school, if you are just sitting round the house or doing homework etc. Every 1/2 hour here and there counts. As to what to tell your ortho - tell her nothing unless she asks lol

Good luck!
