Is it possible that medicince can cause yellowing of teeth?!

Question: Say you are taking something a doctor prescribed you in pills. A week after taking it, your teeth have gotten really yellow. Is that possible that the pills caused your teeth to become yellow? You brush twice a day if not twice a day, once a day.

Yes, it is possible. They can also turn gray. My mom used to have siezures when she was a little kid, and she had to take medicine. They turned her teeth a gray color. She even uses all kinds of different things on her teeth to get them white, but it doesn't really seem to work.

Yes, It IS possible

I know tetracycline can.

Tetracycline is the medicine that has done this, and that is the reason why it's not given to children. Brushing your teeth won't affect that.

I don't know if the whitening strips will change it, but they are the only thing that might.
