my teeth cannot be any more fcked up!. i have never had the experience of having a pretty smile, unless my lips are covering my teeth!. ive never had the experience, of actually showing my teeth in pictures!. i live my life, every day with the most crooked teeth!. not all of them are, but the front ones are completely messed!. my back ones are straight!. i have a 'popper' (tooth coming in from top gum)!. my parents wont get me braces!. theyd rather make our basement look nicer, and have their kid walk around, feeling disgusted!. they tell me theyll get them for me, but never does!. they actually just got done telling me i have to wait an ENTIRE year!.!. by that time ill be out of school!. :/ im asking if theres anyway there might be cheap braces!. i am 16 and on the verge of getting a job soon!. so im wondering if i could get them!? myparents wont :| my sister says she'll get them for me, but shes engaged and having a baby soon!. i dont want to rely on her for it!. please help!. no rude comments!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it bothers you that much, maybe when you get your job save up for it!. I have had 3 different types of retainers, Braces, And I also had to have numerous teeth pulled (including my Wisdom Teeth) because my teeth were all jumbled together, so when they pulled them they grew straighter!. I thank God I had it done because now my teeth look normal, So, I feel your pain!. Maybe when you get out of school you can get a job with Dental insurance and that will help you with the expensesWww@Answer-Health@Com
I didn't get braces until I was in 2nd year university for similar reasons!. You could ask your dentist what the cost is, and if it's really expensive only get them on the top (or bottom) teeth if the other ones are straight!. I guess the only thing you can really do is to get a job and save the money, if it's something your parents aren't willing to do!. Maybe you can bargain with your parents and ask them to pay for half!? or match whatever you save so you don't have to wait a full year!. Good luck hun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

seems like you'll have to pay for them ureself!. i was paranoid about my teeth because i have huge gaps!. i found a job with a dental plan which helped pay for braces!. but i'm not sure if you'll find a job with a dental plan at your age!. even so, you have to wait a certain period before you qualify for the benefit (half a year for me)!.
i also got my braces from ucla!. prices are a lot cheaper because you come in as their guinea pig!. they have future orthodontists work on your teeth while a real orthodontist overlook their work!. i had a few friends who did this and we were all happy with the results!. try calling up your local university and compare prices!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
