Another retainer loser.....?!
Question: Another retainer loser!.!.!.!.!.!?
I got my braces taken off a few months ago & i got my clear retainers!. i lost them the 1st week!.!.!.yeah i know!. now its been 11/2 month since i havent worn them!. the suckiest part is my bottom middle tooth shifted back!. which sucks! im going to the ortho today but im worried that theres nothing he can do!.
is he going to suggest getting braces again!? or is he going to make me new retainers out of the mold that will retain my other teeth except for the shifted one!. ive already read other reviews that said the retainers only retain the shape of the teeth!. so whats gonna happen!. more money to waste!? this sucks bulldooty man!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on how much back the tooth has moved, and if any other teeth have moved aswell!.
if its 1 simple tooth, then he could give you a removable orthodontic appliance which will push that tooth back in line!. although thats still extra money, it would be alot cheaper than braces, and wont be as annoying!.!.!.
once that problem is fixed, he will make you a new set of clear retainers!.!.
OR
ask him about a 'fixed lingual retainer'!. its a piece of metal which is designed to the shape of the back of your teeth!. it is then bonded in composite, and it will hold the teeth in place!. this isnt removable, and therefore you wont loose it!.!.!. and make sure you ask him to design it so you can still flossWww@Answer-Health@Com
