Answers:
DO NOT USE STRAWS, NO SMOKING, NO SPITTING, NO SUCKING!.!.!.!.!. you want a blood clot to form, if it doesn't you can get a dry socket and that hurts worse than any tooth ache you have had!!

You can take pain meds as directed!. You will feel sore and swollen

take the some gause and fold it in half and put on area of extraction DO NOT TRY TO PUT IN THE HOLE!!.!.!.is it just one!? bite down firmly for 30 min!. but don't sleep tonight with them in!. your blood should lessen soon and your saliva will be pink for a day or two but you won't need the gause tomorrow and probably not later tonight, as long as the blood is stopped or extreemly lite and not heavy!.

Eat soft foods
jello, soups, ice cream, puddings, anything soft, yogert etc

no soda or alcohol to drink
you can put a pack of frozen peas/corn on your face where the tooth was removed, on your cheek side to help with swelling

tomorrow you can rinse your mouth every 2-3 hours with salt water and gently expell water from mouthWww@Answer-Health@Com

Be careful because the danger is Chokeing if you cannot feel your tounge!.!. Dont eat solids for a few hours!.!. Eat ice cream to ease the pain but only if your throat is sore!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldnt eat until the numbness is gone, No straws when drinking, when you do eat try soup to begin with!.!.!.you dont wanna eat something that can get in the holes!.!.you'll be in even more painWww@Answer-Health@Com

your in pain because your not taking the pain killers they gave you!. i hope you got percocet cuz thatw hat you need, some docs try to give you motrin, dont fall for that, get the perc's!. and take them soon or you are in for a tough nite!. after 4 or 5 hours you should take the pads out and u can eat and drink!. but dont smoke!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ANY decent dentist would of given you written instructions,!! get HELP!.!! Have someone call that Dentist and ask nurse for your care instructions!. YOU can not eat for certain time, some liquids OK!. Nothing hot!. !. Try a sippy cup!. warm soup, not chuncky!. and Salt water rince!. CALL DENTIST!. *mamatxWww@Answer-Health@Com

is it okay to eat right now!? yes
if not, when!?
and what are the best things to eat this soon!? Yogurt, soup, jello, anything soft and easy to chew!.

also, what are the best ways to put in gauze!? fold it in half, then in half again and shove it in the hole as best you can!.

any advice!? Don' t smoke, if you do, or if you eat, wash it out with warm salt water!. That cleans it well!. Keeps infections out!.

also, i can't take my medicine yet because i can't feel my tongue so, yeah!. i tried drinking water earlier but that didn't end well!. Crush up the meds and stick them in yogurt or what ever u are eating, mix it up well and eat it that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got mine out last week and the oral surgeon gave me a bokklet of instructions!. Here are some of them: No milk products, caffine, or hard foods(duh!ouch) for at least 24 hours!. (Soups were pretty much my food for several days!.) Do not drink through a straw or spit in any way this could cause a drysocket!. you really need to take pain medicine cause when the numbness wears off you will hurt!. I folded my gauze in 1/2 or 1/4 then bit down on it!. But i only used it for about 30 min!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you do eat something right now eat like jello, pudding, ice cream!.!.!.!.stuff that's soft but you want to be very careful not to eat anything that you have to suck into your mouth and do NOT use a straw to drink anything either becuz that will give you dry socket and if you think you feel pain now if you get dry socket that will be way worse than anything you ever felt before!.!.!.!.The best thing to do when your putting the gauze in your mouth is to get like 4 or 5 peace's of it and put half of it between your cheek and your jaw and the other half will lay over the part that you just had surgery on, it's never gonna stay in place really good but that's the best way to keep it covered most of the time!.!.!.!.!.!.If you can sleep that's the best thing to do right now also!.!.!.!.!.Goodluck ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com
