What is the process of 'tightening' braces?!
Question: What is the process of 'tightening' braces!?
Answers:
Well, like braces straighten teeth by applying gentle pressure!. Thats why the wire is there!.
As it works, the teeth move, the wire become slack and doesn't pull, So its not working any more!.
If the teeth aren't straight yet, the dentist just tightens the wire so it pulls them in the correct direction, and it carries on doing the job!.
At some point the doc will be happy and the braces are taken off!.
Easy!. Think fence wire!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well either they will put a larger wire on there which will cause more tension to straighten the teeth, or they put metal twists on the the teeth that are too far back or forward to bring them even with the other teeth!. Also you get new elastics on the braces so the wire stays secure in them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
